• The Makita DHP480RTJ 18v LXT combi features a high performance brushless motor and 2 speed gearbox with metal gears delivering a maximum torque of 54Nm, it is supplied with a choice of batteries for long run time, DC18RC fast charger and a heavy duty stackable MakPac carry case.
• Brushless motors are far more efficient than standard brushed motors because of no friction loss caused by the brushes. This increases the run time of the machine per battery charge of up to 50% which saves downtime and reduces battery charging, furthermore lower amperage drawn reduces working temperature especially useful in continuous operation applications.
• The DHP480RTJ has a raft of features including hammer action, battery fuel gauge, metal gears, full rubber bumpers and LED light with pre-glow function. This machine is extremely well balanced and lightweight (just 1.7kg), it has a rubberised grip for excellent control and is designed to prevent dust and water ingress thanks to Makita's XPT (extreme protection technology).
• The 2 speed gearbox has a low speed of 0-400rpm which is perfect for heavy duty screw driving and a high speed of 0-1,550rpm perfect for high speed drilling and masonry drilling.
